Golf Tournament Raises $10,000 for the Berryman Center

This was fun, I can’t wait until next year!” was the
sentiment of golfers that participated in the Inaugural Berryman Center Golf Tournament.  Hosted by Mill Quarter Plantation Golf Course on September 15, 2007, twenty-one golfers sliced, chipped and putted their way through a maximum of 45 holes of golf and helped us raise over $10,000!  Proceeds from the golf tournament help to support the ministries of the Berryman Center

Since 2003, the Berryman Center has served as a Hub of Hope for socially, economically, and spiritually transformative relationships.  Our vision is reflected through our programs emphasizing that Berryman: Celebrates (Taste & See Coffee House), Computes (computer lab), Creates (youth summer arts program), Empowers (mentoring), Feeds (food distribution), Incubates (women’s small business incubator), Provides (Baby Emergency Assistance in Richmond & Clothing Closet), Shelters (Non-profit space utilization), and Worships (traditional and nontraditional services).
